Suite au conflit qui a \u00c3\u00a9clat\u00c3\u00a9 au Soudan en avril 2023, les activit\u00c3\u00a9s pr\u00c3\u00a9vues dans ce pays ont d\u00c3\u00bb \u00c3\u00aatre interrompues. Par cons\u00c3\u00a9quent, le besoin d’un nouveau partenaire strat\u00c3\u00a9gique<\/strong> \u00c3\u00a9tait n\u00c3\u00a9cessaire pour faciliter le d\u00c3\u00a9veloppement de l’outil MENA Health Country Profile (MHCP-t) dans la r\u00c3\u00a9gion. L’Universit\u00c3\u00a9 Badr du Caire<\/strong><\/a> (BUC) a \u00c3\u00a9t\u00c3\u00a9 s\u00c3\u00a9lectionn\u00c3\u00a9e comme le dernier ajout au consortium du projet MENA Migrant Health.<\/p>\n

Le professeur Adel Abdelkhalek Sayed Ahmed<\/strong>, doyen de la Facult\u00c3\u00a9 de m\u00c3\u00a9decine v\u00c3\u00a9t\u00c3\u00a9rinaire de l’Universit\u00c3\u00a9 Badr du Caire, a soulign\u00c3\u00a9 l’importance des recherches men\u00c3\u00a9es dans le cadre du projet MENA Migrant Health. “Les id\u00c3\u00a9es et les connaissances g\u00c3\u00a9n\u00c3\u00a9r\u00c3\u00a9es profitent grandement \u00c3\u00a0 notre institution, la BUC”, a-t-il d\u00c3\u00a9clar\u00c3\u00a9. “Elles am\u00c3\u00a9liorent notre compr\u00c3\u00a9hension des probl\u00c3\u00a8mes de sant\u00c3\u00a9 rencontr\u00c3\u00a9s par les populations migrantes, \u00c3\u00a9clairent nos pratiques et nous permettent de d\u00c3\u00a9velopper des interventions et des politiques cibl\u00c3\u00a9es pour r\u00c3\u00a9pondre efficacement \u00c3\u00a0 leurs besoins en mati\u00c3\u00a8re de sant\u00c3\u00a9.”<\/p>\n

L’\u00c3\u2030gypte<\/strong> a \u00c3\u00a9t\u00c3\u00a9 strat\u00c3\u00a9giquement choisie comme site de mise en \u00c5\u201cuvre du projet dans la r\u00c3\u00a9gion en raison de sa stabilit\u00c3\u00a9<\/strong>, bien qu’elle soit un carrefour importante pour les flux migratoires<\/strong>, en raison de ses fronti\u00c3\u00a8res avec Gaza, le Soudan et la Libye. En outre, l’\u00c3\u2030gypte abrite les bureaux r\u00c3\u00a9gionaux d’organisations cl\u00c3\u00a9s telles que l’Organisation Internationale pour les Migrations (OIM) et l’Organisation Mondiale de la Sant\u00c3\u00a9 (OMS), ce qui facilite la mise en place d’un solide r\u00c3\u00a9seau de partenaires<\/strong>. En particulier, l’OIM g\u00c3\u00a8re un centre de soins directs pour les migrants dans le pays, avec lequel le projet collaborera par l’interm\u00c3\u00a9diaire du Centre d’\u00c3\u00a9valuation de la sant\u00c3\u00a9 m\u00c3\u00a9dicale (MHAC) de l’OIM.<\/p>\n

Bien que la BUC soit devenue un nouveau partenaire, le projet maintiendra son partenariat avec l’Universit\u00c3\u00a9 de Gezira<\/a><\/strong>, au Soudan. Les deux doctorants soudanais continueront d’\u00c3\u00aatre inscrits au programme de doctorat de l’universit\u00c3\u00a9, assurant ainsi la continuit\u00c3\u00a9 et la collaboration entre les institutions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
